Plumbing Tips:
Let about five gallons of water out of your water heater every month or two. There’s a hose thread on the drain. This will prevent buildup in the bottom of the tank and save energy.
If you have low pressure at a particular sink faucet, unscrew the aerator from the spout and check it for debris.
Rubber washing machine hoses are the number one cause of home floods. They should be replaced with burst proof braided stainless steel hoses.
To get the smell out of your garbage disposer, run some ice through it. The ice scours the inside.
